Do you have a "dream car"? If you had money to spare, would you buy a new car? If so, would you be more likely to get an eco-friendly vehicle, a vintage model, or a luxury sportscar?

2010
Happy new 2010 year everyone!
hope everyone fulfills their new year resolution with a snap of their fingers.
for me, i just wished everyday was like 1st january 2010, that would be awesome :o)
it was like everything was already planned out, just waiting for each step to pass. Hard decision leaving you, i was sincerely worried throughout the night and day that the wolf may have eaten you up but then, things got better later. random question lead to spontaneity lead to a very lazy laid-back but very much enjoyed day.

I watched as the light of dawn break peeped through the blinds onto your perfect features and clear skin. I would never forget that beautiful picture, that beautiful you..

2009 ended quietly for me.. no hoohas.. just spent time with my family..
something i havent done for the past few years..

so much has happened in the past year..
i graduated.. i went overseas.. lived alone..
came back.. got my heart broken..
it still hurts.. some days more than others. sometimes i dont even want to get out of bed
but i know i have to. i just have to.
im trying hard to get on with my life. trying not to think about it.
but its hard.
i know everyone says time heals it all.. it all gets better with time
im waiting for time to heal me

the past few years.. my life revolved around him. i neglected alot of my friends
now that im alone.. i realised i lost alot of friends. everyone has their own lives
i have to learn to be stronger and be more independent.

a month flew by since i got back
time passes so fast, yet i dont feel better.
i dont know how long it will take for me to heal

i dont know what 2010 will bring me. it feels the same so far
i'll be going away again in feb.. this time till the end of the year
frankly, im terrified. this time, i'll be really alone
everyone thinks im strong enough to do this, but im not sure
im dreading feb27

no new year resolutions for me
just new year wishes
hope 2010 will be a better year than 2009
hope i'll be able to walk out of this as a stronger person
hope we'll both be happier

Feeling: exhausted

Am I being superficial to say that they are the most awesome girlies in the world just because they bought me a new 12.2 megapixels digital camera as my Christmas present?

Well, not when they are truly wonderful!

Test shot with my new camera!

I was just saying that the spirit of Christmas gifting should by no means be an obligation, but something that comes from the heart, because while picking out the gifts for them, you are thinking about them, and testing how well you know them as well as what they want. I guess the Girlies' Pre-Xmas Weekend Getaway @ Le Peranakan came to pretty good use, because it inspired quite a few Christmas presents, for example, I bought Cheryl a nice black feather headband with netting because I saw her wearing a bow headband during the stay, while the rest of the girlies got me a new digicam as I dropped mine in the jacuzzi then. No wonder Jias asked me what kind of camera I was looking for with an excuse that she was going to a warehouse sale and could check it out for me. Xping, on the other hand, said even though she couldn't be there, I would still receive my gift from her. They were all very sly, but sweet, nonetheless.

Our Annual Christmas Gift Exchange was held outside The Central last night, near the Singapore River, after our delicious Bak Kut Teh dinner. As usual, we had loads of fun handing the gifts to one another, tearing open the wrappers carefully and laughing over the incredulous gifts some of us have received.

Mingyi left soon after collecting all her Christmas presents from us, while the rest of us wanted to make full use of Ladies Night. The plan was to head over to Double O for their cheap (and good) drinks, before hopping over to Zouk, but alas, we never made it to the latter. Jias and I drank more than we should (though mine was, of course, no more than hers), while Ling got so high she started singing French tunes outside dbl O, and Cheryl had to take care of all of us.

This girl was a goner.

Moral of the story for me: don't drink to party.

What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Graduated university with an Honours degree. Sold my soul to the Dev — I mean, gover — wait, I DO mean Devil. Went for a 4-day OBS challenge and jumped off a platform fifteen feet in the air. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Can't remember 'em. Maybe I should make a resolution to remember my resolutions.

Sister is away in the Maldives. Frolicking in the sun, relaxing in the calm clear waters.

BAHHHHHHHH.

And my idea of a good time is managing to sleep at 9pm and waking up at 1045am...to clock about 13 hours of sleep.

BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

it's ok. When she's back, I have Ritz-Carlton and a new Ipod to look forward to!
(Not that she's buying it for me, it's just nice to do sisterly-things.)
